Clutter X-Ray

Emotional hazards are often lurking in those piles of “stuff.” With compassion and understanding, I cultivate a safe space for you to be introspective about your habits, and create lasting change. My degree in Sociology and natural curiosity about the relationship between people and their possessions has led me to this work. We can place outside significance on our things without knowing it— simply because we own them (this is called the “endowment effect”). We can hold on to possessions that we don’t love and don’t use because we feel guilt when we think about letting them go. Or maybe there is a general fear of the past or of the future that can lead us to holding on to our possessions for dear life. Clutter is just delayed decision making, whatever the reason. I help you gain conscious awareness of what mental roadblocks might be standing in your way, enabling you to finally live in the organized home of your dreams.

Fairy Godmother

We all get busy, and the little things that get away from us on a day-to-day basis can turn into big headaches.

Let go of the guilt and shame and know that this is incredibly common. Allow us to take charge of your garage, kitchen, children’s playroom, or any other space that’s bothering you. While you are away, our team will get your space organized with an intuitive arrangement that will be easy to maintain. And if you would like help developing systems and guidance decluttering, we can help with that too!
